Janet Baker-Richardson

After years of advertising campaigns, Janet Baker Richardson left the crazy world of travel and long hours to become a portrait photographer, specializing in children and animals. During this time, Janet had the opportunity to return to school and to work along side some of the world's finest portrait photographers. Janet has won numerous awards for her work including top honors in her categories at the 2005 and 2006 Wedding and Portrait Photographers International print competitions, competing against over 2500 images. Her work has appeared in Rangefinder Magazine and the book Best of Children's Portraiture published by Amherst Media. Janet teaches The Art of Children's Portraiture at the Julia Dean Photoworkshops in Los Angeles and has taught at The Workshops in Rockport Maine. Janet currently lives and works in Los Angeles. |
